1. Install the Tenami Chrome Extension.

Activities that result in a DMCA Copyright strike against your channel involve the wrongful distribution of either audio or video content through your Twitch livestream or VOD.

Tenami protects your Twitch channel from Copyright strikes by fully removing the act of distributing Copyright infringing material from your Twitch stream. Instead, this process is handled through Tenami where the content can then be distributed via the respective owner.

Video and audio content is not delivered to a viewer until after they have satisfied all requirements and have fully authorized with the video provider that they are allowed to watch. For example, a viewer would be unable to watch a Netflix show or movie until after they have logged into their Netflix account with an active subscription.

Tenami is not a work around DMCA, but instead works in line with DMCA to ensure that content is distributed legally and that your stream is protected.

Tenami uses the Twitch API for logging into your account - meaning that we have no knowledge of what your password or anything like that actually is.

In fact, when you use streaming software such as Streamlabs OBS, you are giving Streamlabs full privileges access essential information about your account such as your stream key.

In Tenami's case, we ask for bare minimum privileges. All we need is your account name to verify that you are who you claim to be.

Login information for video platforms such as Netflix, Crunchyroll, and any future supported platforms are handled exclusively through their respective services and are not handled by Tenami.

Yes. An active account and subscription are required to watch anything on Netflix.

Alternatively, other video services such as Crunchyroll and YouTube offer a majority of their video content without an account or paywall. However, like Netflix, a subscription is required to access premium content such as the latest anime episodes on Crunchyroll.

Yes! For viewers that would like to take advantage of their dual screen setups for a Twitch watch party, simply close Tenami’s theater mode popup and instead watch directly on the Twitch.tv browser tab.

When the theater mode popup is closed, Tenami will automatically resync to the browser tab that you joined the Tenami watch party from. From there, you can then full screen both Twitch and Tenami.

Like Discord, Tenami can be accessed both through our desktop app as well as through the web browser. Watch parties can be hosted and joined directly through both the browser extension and desktop application, however our native desktop app features a more optimized watch party experience.

Yes! When syncing videos to a Twitch stream, Tenami calculates the stream delay for each individual viewer.

This ensures that video content from Netflix, Crunchyroll, YouTube, etc will always be in sync with the Twitch stream.

In other words, all reactions and surprises are perfectly tailored to arrive right on cue!

If the video is not available in your region, you will be unable to access the video. Either Tenami or the video provider will notify you when this event occurs.

We in the process of building a mobile version of Tenami for iOS and Android. We currently do not support Tenami on mobile devices.

However, if you are absolutely desparate to use Tenami on your mobile device, it is possible to stream the desktop version of Tenami from your computer to your phone through Steam's Steamlink.

That being said, Tenami is unafiliated with this process and it most likely will require a decent amount of troubleshooting on your part. We were hesitant to even mention this workaround, however for the sake of transparency and authenticity we decided that it was the right thing to do.

After installing the Tenami Chrome extension, refresh the Twitch page to enable Tenami on that browser tab. Once the streamer selects a video to watch, you will see a Tenami popup on your screen.
